Dear Kathy
It has now been one month since receiving our puppy Khiara (Chula & Tio's litter). Khiara has settled into her new environment really well. In the first week we managed to house train her, teach her how to sit, shake and many other tricks. We can't believe how smart and intelligent she is. She caputured our heart from day one, it was love at first sight.
Khiara has brighted our lives and not only is she loved by us, but by all our our family and friends, she is the first to run to the door to greet our guests. S
he is gentle and playful, but gutsy as well. I guess that comes with being the only girl out of her litter. On Monday we are off to the vet for her 12 week injection and then we look forward to venturing into the real world. We thank you for providing us with such an affectionate and gorgeous puppy. She is all we ever dreamed of and much more.
We would love to keep in touch with the families from Chula & Tio's litter, so please feel free to pass on our email address (avalable on request)
Keep up the great work

Hi Kathy,
I thought I’d send you a picture of Stanley aged 6 months. Surely he is a brother of BRUNO, on your home page currently? They are the spitting image of each other and Stan looks like his mum just as much as Bruno does.
And they both share a sock fetish, although Stanley’s also extends to knickers! Could you put him up on the site with Bruno? Since taking this picture we’ve had Stanley trimmed, so he’s now a very unusual ugg-boot colour all over. So many people stop us, remark on his (now) unusual colouring and compliment me on what a handsome boy he is!
The whole family adores him.

Hi Kathy,
Just thought I'd give you an update on our little boy as he comes into his 12th week. When I picked him up from Mascot on Nov 23rd, he was not impressed with being freight. At the freight centre it took me 15 minutes to coax him out his crate but he eventually came.
Zappa is now 12 weeks old and is just gorgeous. He already knows sit, down, stay and has learnt the areas of the house he can't go into (sort of...this is an ongoing battle but hes getting it). He is fully house trained, mainly thanks to you Kathy and has only had one 'excitement' wee inside.
We stopped him from mouthing pretty early but occasionally he still tries it on. About 90% of the time hes very laid back and the rest... mad as a cut snake! He loves a cuddle but only on his terms ;-). Coming is not his strong point but were persisting.
His attention span is about 2 seconds unless there is food around then you have his undivided attention. My god hes a pig, the concept of chewing 20 times before swallowing is completely lost on him! He weighed in today at 5.6 kilos. He is now successfully sitting and waiting for his dinner, this is quite hilarious, as he goes into an almost zen like trance, staring at his bowl, until he gets the 'eat' release command.
. At this stage he hasn't gone down the path of destroying anything but were looking at this as a 'when' rather than 'if' moment.a
He has a lot of chew toys so this seems to get the majority of the attention. He goes in for his injections on Thursday so we can't wait until a week after that when we can actually start walking him.We love him to bits and think its the best thing we've decided to do for a long time.
Well I hope you, your family and your pack have a great Christmas & New Year.
All the best
Tim, Kylie & Zappa
Hi Kathy,
Its Millie. Thank you for finding me these lovely parents. I am excited. I have already doubled my weight and have had my needle and wear a tic collar. I have my own yard and my own house and lots of toys. I am also very often invited in Mum's and Dad's house where they have a lot of brown grass which is so inviting for peeing on. And when I do, they get upset. I don't understand why.
When they don't want me peeing in the house they should not have that grass there. I still have to work that out. I also have a krate where I retire and sleep, if not in my house. I also have a play penn which can be anywhere in the house or on the deck. It does not have grass. I get a lot of cudles and give love bites in return, sometimes bloody ones which is not very popular with Mum and Dad. Yeh, and the food is good too.
I have made friends with the dogs next door and we visit on occasions. And I have to tell you that: last Friday I was with Mum and Dad at "Dogs and Grogs". That was great fun. All these dogs running around and playing. At the beginning I was scared, but after a couple of minutes I joined in and had a great time. Can not wait to get there again. At night I sleep in the laundry (in my krate) I have worked out by myself how to open the cat door to my yard so that I can get in and out at leisure.
Mum and Dad think that I am smart (what is the case) and I heard them saying that they may send me to university once I have finished puppy school. I will visit puppy school early October and am keen to learn new things.
After all, one has to be smart nowadays.
Love Millie

Hi Kathy,
I have been meaning to send you some update/feed back on the puppy that we purchased from you, but time gets away, and now it’s been 6 months since we got him. The puppy is from Chula x Tio’s 07 litter (black collar) and we called him “Teddy”. My daughter Kirsten and I came up to your place to see the litter, and we picked him out.
He stayed with Rachel for a few weeks before we could take him home. We have been extremely happy with this little fellow – he’s a real crowd stopper/chick magnet when we go out with him. The number of people who have said that they want one just like him has been numerous.
They have enquired where we got him from, and if half of them ended up contacting you or checking out the website, then it must surely have generated some enquiries. He has fitted in well with the family, even winning over my partner who was not keen to get a dog again.
He goes with us most places, and I’m glad some of the cafes around Coffs Harbour allow dogs, because it gives the dog more socialising, and it helps break down the barriers that dogs shouldn’t be allowed out in public places. He has become a very inside dog, but with our backyard situation that is a good thing.
We are the place, that had to get the puppy downstairs, out the back, and then back upstairs to get to the backyard. We did purchase a “Pet Loo” which after an initial teething period, Teddy did learn to master. The box the “Pet Loo” came in featured photos of Labradoodles on it.He has such a loving nature, and mixed in with a rascal personality, makes for a great mate. He loves the beach and racing up to every dog that comes along. We need to work on this part though, as I don’t want him to get into trouble one day.
Thanks for a great little family companion, my daughter just adores him (and he’s become my little shadow).
You were certainly right about neutered males making loyal companions. I was concerned initially as I had only had females before, but I think being desexed early makes the difference in the males.
Attached are a couple of photos for your info.
Cheers
Ditte Krams – Kirsten and Greg

Dear Kathy, Ruby has been a part of our family for some months
now, and we can't imagine life without her. She is a bundle of joy and
affection. She is the best friend of our two daughters - despite chewing
the hands and feet off Barbies! It's hard for her though, as Ruby thinks
she is one of the girls, and can't understand why she isn't allowed in
the playroom!
