Hi there Kathy,

Well it is high time for another little update on our wonderful happy life with our now 2 year old Labradoodle. Bagheera has settled well into his toddler mode from puppy mode. He truly is the love of our life. He is adorable.

As you can see he is very happy even with that ugly little Santa. I still can't thank you enough for producing these wonderful critters. I keep in touch with one of his brothers Buddy, in fact I think they will come for a stay and a visit with us one day this year. It will be great to meet Buddy and his Dad. Interesting to see how the two will interact with each other. We haven't met anyone that doesn't ask us about Bagheera.

They think he is an amazing dog. Strangers especially. When we walk along the beach, we are always stopped by strangers to ask what kind of dog and where did we get him etc etc. I always praise on the joy he has bought us thus far, how easy he has been to train, and how wonderful he is with our daughter who is 6 years old now. They play beautifully together. Oh don't get me wrong they both drive me nuts sometimes with their excitement, barking and yelling with laughter. Not sure who teases who. He doesn't chew our thongs any more or anything like that any more. Oh he does love my husbands work socks when he comes home, that's about it.

Bagheera can manage to sniff them out, open a zipper bag and run off out into the yard with one, hoping to get my husband to chase him to get it back. Now it is truly a laugh a minute. My husband has quite a time with that. I have to say, we took him to the vets the other day for his annual shots. Well even the vet has to comment on what a great looking and happy dog.

The vet is known to Bagheera as Uncle Pete. Of course Uncle Pete has nick named Bagheera (Bags). We bump the vet on our walks from time to time. Bagheera is clipped now, too hot up here not to, his tail of course is still very fluffy. Its like a big feather.

I often ask him if he is going to wag his tail off. He wags and wags away merrily it almost appears exhausting. Ha Ha Ha After having such a gorgeous fluff ball it took a bit of getting used to having him clipped but, we are used to him all neat and trim now. It has to be so much cooler for him at the end of the day. He is as happy as larry going to Parlour.

Again Kathy, we can't thank you enough for the wonderful dog we got from you. I am so glad I listened to other people that got a labradoodle from you. He has been worth every penny.

Sure hope you are well and your family of Labradoodles.

Hi there Kathy,

I can’t believe it has almost been a year since our beautiful puppy Miley walked into our lives. It has been a very good year and we will never forget it. Miley has learnt many tricks like when we sneeze Miley runs to go and get us a tissue. We can also shoot her and she plays dead, she can beg and bow, and she hides her eyes from a bench.

We are currently teaching herb to ride a skate board. All of these games always make visitors fall in love with her even more. We all play hide and seek as this is her favourite game. She regularly loves to go for a walk in the local park with her other doggy friends. She always loves to meet new people and always gets really excited whenever comfronted with a new face is. Miley absolutely adores the boat; she loves getting off at the shore and runs around like a lunatic chasing any birds that dare to get in her way. She is very energetic and playful and is very spoiled with all of her toys. She is a very talented dog and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She brings joy to all of our lives and w can’t believe she is already 1 years old.

Time has definitely gone quickly, but she is still cheeky and loves getting into all sorts of mischief.

Hi Kathy,

Thought you would like to see these. I am putting a "Zappa" photo album together for Kylie for Christmas and these are a couple of my favorites out of many. Feel free to use them on your website but not until after Christmas please, just incase she smells a rat and it spoils the album surprise.

Hope you enjoy! Tim x

Hi Kathy,

It has been nearly four months since Lilly came into our lives. She is the sweetest dog ever, loves meeting people, walks in the hills and curling up beside the couch. We cannot imagine life without her. We completed an RSPCA Life Skills program, and she is now doing dog obedience training and doing very well.

We have even trained her to get us our slippers in the morning! She is a very smart little dog. Lilly is growing every day, and we can hardly remember the small little puppy we first picked up at the airport. Apparently she is still supposed to double in size from her current weight, but we find that hard to imagine. She loves being picked up for cuddles, so we will have to start doing some weights!

Anyway, here are a few pics of Lilly. As you will know, black labradoodles are difficult to photograph, and while they might not look that great in photos, in real life she is the prettiest dog ever :).

Regards, Jo

Hi there,

Thought I'd send you an updated photo of Samson. It has been just over 6 months, and I'm really not sure what life was like before him :) He has been a great influence in my life, and love having him around. All the family have fallen in love, and he has become the first grandchild, with his christmas stocking already in waiting to be hung this year! :)

A quick question about their coats..... I have had mixed advice. Do you give your dogs a short summer clip, or do they have their own insulation methods, that help to keep them cool in summer?? It sure is starting to get hot!

Thanks, Kristy

Hi Kathy,

Thought you might like to see how our beautiful Cyrus is growing. He is a wonderful companion and so much fun to have around. We can't imagine a time when he wasn't part of the family. He is still very silly and sometimes without any control (in a good way). He is very athletic and he is full of energy. We just had some snow a week ago here in DC and he LOVED it very much. He had so much fun running and chasing his big brother Ramses. Also, he is the most affectionate dog we have ever seen. He loves to snuggle and he loves giving kisses. He is definitely a mama's boy but he also adores Ramses. They play so nicely together. Oh, and his coat is just beautiful.

Thanks again for our "little bear" (his nick name).
