Hi Kathy,

Thought you might like to see a recent photo of Lewis. He is a lot like his dad – has the same slight lean in the sitting position. He is doing so well, goes to training each week. He has just learnt to wave. So if he wants my attention he now sits in front of me and waves, so funny. The girls just love him. He is certainly a great addition to the family and loves being the only “rooster” in the “henhouse” I hope all is well with you and the team at Cloudcatcher. Deb.

Hi Kathy,

Just thought I'd drop you a quick email and a couple of photos so that you, and those viewing your website, can see how adorable your labradoodle pups grow up to be. Ruby (Kiva and Zappa litter) is now 2 years old and her little partner in crime, Amber, (Dorian and Zappa litter) turned 1 in May this year.

Both are doing great and both Paul and l just love them to bits. It is amazing how different in personality they are - Ruby is still the little mischevious one and always has to be in amongst everything and everyone where as little Amber is so gentle and quiet always happy just plodding around wagging her tail waiting for someone to give her a cuddle. Perfect compliment really to each other.

Hope you and all your doggies are well and I am happy for you to display the photo and email on your website if you would like.

Kind regards,

Hi Kathy

We thought we'd send you a picture to show you how much Belle has grown (Sabine and Dorian litter).  We think she is absolutely gorgeous and we're not the only ones, we are constantly getting comments on what a beautiful dog she is, people can't believe her eyes and coat colour!

She is the biggest goofball and has us in stitches of laughter all the time, however can be a little naughty at times!  She's fitted in perfectly with our other pup Molly and they are the best of friends and play all day (I know this because of the amount of mulch from the garden that is all over our patio when we get home)!

She REALLY loves her food but we have to be very careful what we leave out - she seems to love to eat crayons for some reason...

She really is a gorgeous, happy dog and we couldn't be happier with her, she is just beautiful!

Thank you once again!

Hi Kathy,

We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday!! Sorry it has taken so long for us to make contact since receiving our beautiful addition to the family. We received Olive on Friday 12th June, and she was so little and cute. Dog Tanners were brilliant, and so caring.

hey had given her some water and food by the time we arrived, so she was very calm. Olive was very healthy when she arrived, and loves the BARF diet! She has always been a good eater. Olive has settled into life with us so well, and last night she passed puppy school with flying colours. She knows how to sit, lye-down, shake hands, stay, and come when she is called (most times). Here are some pictures of our little Olive, who has captured the hearts of everyone she meets.

Kathy, you have bread the most beautiful natured dog, who is very clever, and so loving. Thank you very much.

We also appreciated the advise you gave in the lead up to receiving Olive. We bought one of the books that you recommended, and it helped us be well prepared for her arrival, and training.

Kindest regards,

Tina and Nikki

OUR LABRADOODLES IN THE WORLD

Hi Kathy,

It’s been nearly 6 months since we brought Fergus home (Sophie x Tio) and our life has changed in amazing ways. We meet so many new people who would never stop to talk to us normally, but they can’t resist asking questions about Fergus, what breed he is, where we got him etc. So many people also comment about how happy he looks – he’s an absolute character and he makes everybody laugh. We were astounded at how well house trained he was when we first got him home.

People often ask us about his coat and whether it’s difficult to look after – we explain how easy it is (a quick comb every few days, and the occasional grooming session). He loves people and other dogs and he is the talk of the dog training company we use. He’s even managed to establish a good friendship with one of our cats, and an ‘understanding’ with the other.

We are constantly referring Cloudcatchers, and we can’t thank you enough - I’m now buttering up my husband for Labradoodle number two! I’ve attached a couple of photos, and if you ever have time when we’re down you’re way, we’d love to meet for coffee.

Kind regards,

This email has been a long time coming (16 weeks in fact) and I am so sorry it has taken me so long to let you know how much Ivy is enjoying her new home. I was unable to download the photo's onto the computer because we could not find our USB cord until now.

Well, what a wonderful little girl you have given us. Little Ivy means the world to us and we love her so much. It is amazing how much love and joy she has brought to our lives. She probably looks a bit different now to when you saw her last. Even we have noticed how much she has grown.

Can you believe that Ivy slept right through the night on the 2nd night she was with us? The first night we were up every couple of hours which was understandable. On the second night I kept waking up every couple of hours to make sure she was ok but she was sound asleep, I had nothing to worry about. Ivy is about 99% toilet trained now. She goes to the back door sits and waits and we know that is the signal for wee's, wee's or poo's, poo's.

Ivy starts puppy preschool tonight so she can brush up on the skills she has already learnt. Sit was easy, she got the hang of that straight away.
She almost has, sit > stay > come down pat. When ever we try this command she thinks we are playing so we have to work on this one a little more.

Everyone absolutely loves her. It takes us twice as long to get to where we are going now because everyone wants to stop for a chat and pat. Ivy loves people as well. She is so good with little kids. We went to some friends place a few weeks ago, there were 5 children and two other dogs, Ivy was more interested in playing with the children than the other dogs.

We all love going to the beach. Even though it is a bit cold for swimming at the moment, Ivy just loves running in the sand, digging little holes and meeting other dogs. We are planning a long weekend in a few weeks from now and heading down to Jervis Bay because they have a lot of dog friendly beaches down there.

After not knowing much about labradoodles before doing our research when deciding on getting a dog, we are so glad that we decided on a labradoodle.
They are so lovable, smart, funny, they love playing and they just love to be around you. We are already talking about getting a brother or sister for Ivy so you will hear from us again in the near future.

As promised some pictures are attached.

Take care, kindest regards.

Hi,

I just wanted to send you some pictures of our beautiful dogs. We have had Summer (Black) two and half years now and Spike (cream) almost one. They are the most beautiful, cuddly dogs. Our dogs are great mates they are constantly playing with each other and are inseparable. Whilst their personalities are different Summer is very active and Spike is the laziest dog I have met, they both have the same fantastic temperament that the breed is well known for. People constantly comment on their friendly personalities not only with humans but other animals as well. I could not ask for two better dogs, they are awesome. It’s a compliment to your breeding that dogs which have completely different parents and traits both share the same common friendly and happy personas.

I am very happy with my gorgeous dogs and would recommend you to anyone.

Cheers, Victoria Aldridge

Dear Kathy,

How are you? Just a little update on Kuma for you: basically, we LOVE him! He and Badger (our youngest cat) are still best mates, and he even looks after the chickens for us! We love walking him because he is so well behaved (he has graduated from puppy kindy and is now in Beginners B) and because people always stop us to ask what breed of dog he is, and to tell us how cute he is.

I am constantly amazing friends of ours with dogs, because they can't believe how well trained he is for his age. I took him to our local nursery the other weekend, and he was so calm and interested in everyone around him. The people at the counter praised his behaviour and his good looks (which he and I both loved)!

Dan and I have had to trim the fur around his face a couple of times, and I think we are getting the hang of it. Getting the full-body groom is going to be interesting because I love Kuma's long hair and I don't want it to be too short but I want him to be comfortable in the summer. He is extremely sociable with other dogs, and even though we don't have children yet, he LOVES kids! It's very cute watching him play with kids. He's quite vocal - more than I was expecting but he certainly isn't annoying. He is a very good guard dog and is particularly protective of me. A couple of months ago, we were walking at our local spot and I stopped to get a stone out of my shoe.

I had my back to the path, and I had seen a man approaching from behind. Kuma immediately went into defence mode: barking and standing tall. As soon as I said it was okay, he relaxed and ran up to say hello. His vocabulary is excellent: he can sit, stay, drop, give, wait, "off", take it, high five and speak, just to name a few. His loose-lead walking is incredible and he heels and halts when asked to. Most of the time, I can get him to stop and sit using signs from a distance! I'll leave it there for now (I'm sure you get gushy emails like this all the time) and I've attached some recent photos for you.

Take care,
Beth, Dan and Kuma

Hi Kathy,

Wow we cant believe its been a month since our baby girl arrived. Her name is Marli & she has settled in so well, from the moment she stepped foot in our backyard she was happy, content & felt right at home. She has taken a liking to our shag pile rug & spent her first night snuggled up on it, she wasn’t a big fan of her bed so we went to the carpet shop & got an off cut of shagpile to put on top of her bed, she now loves her bed! Marli loves the kids & they love having her around, although our daughter Charli is not happy that Marli loves barbie dolls just as much as her! Toilet training went great, it took around 2wks to have no accidents which we were very happy with. Marli comes in & out as she pleases through the doggy door & loves tearing up the backyard chasing birds, balls & whatever catches her eyes. She loves puppy school & fitted in right away, defiantly the crowd pleaser of the group – people just love her.

She is very friendly & has a great nature, I think she will wear her tail out from all the wagging – It never stops! I have one question in regards to the microchipping – How do we get our details onto the chip? Does this happen when we register her with the council? I have attached a couple of pics for you. Hope you had a nice break & have settled back into reality again.

Thankyou again for our beautiful girl, she is everything we wanted & more. We will keep you updated with pics & stories.

Kindest regards,

Glen, Jasmine, Elliott, Charli & Marli Pell xxx
