The CloudCatcher labradoodle territory
is composed of 2 acres of connecting gardens and orchards surrounding the human den, where they share alternate sleep-overs. The labradoodles have daily exploratory forays on three acres surrounding their much loved creek, which always has on offer, new smells and swimming experiences.
Life is structured around them
including the design and comfort of the puppy palace and their various dens. We strive to consistently produce happy, healthy, well-adjusted, adaptable, loving and intelligent family pets, through careful genetic selection and health testing.
Cloudcatcher’s aim is to produce
the best family labradoodles pet available and that begins
with the care of our parent dogs, the parents of your puppy.
We hope to maintain our intimate breeding center atmosphere,
as our breeding dogs are our pets and they come first.
We do our best to provide a good quality of life,
so half of our labradoodles are living in their (nearby)
family care homes and come here to be bred and have their puppies.
The other half of our labradoodles live here with us,
on a 5 acre creek-front property,
where they get a daily swim and romp in the horse paddock
(safely, of course while the horses are having
their brekkie in the barn). They get daily people-time,
either in the surrounding gardens for the day
or in the house for the evening.
Their houses are situated
in large shady paddocks with plenty of space to run and explore.
The major considerations in their abodes
design has been comfort and climate,
incorporating verandahs, with minimal concrete
use confined to their bedroom floors.
Normally after 3 litters
our labradoodle females will be de-sexed and retired to a life of leisure, so you can be assured your puppy is bred from a
family dog to be a family dog.
The labradoodle puppies live
in the house with us until their eyes have opened,
then on to the puppy palace until they outgrow their yard,
when they move into the puppy paddock
with their own puppy playground,
until they are old enough to travel to their new families
at 8-12 weeks, dependent upon their destination.
The puppies are crate-trained
and socialized by our
extended family and introduced to as many sights and sounds
as pleasantly possible, so they will be
well prepared for their journey to you.
Our labradoodles puppies
receive their first vaccination at 6 weeks and are regularly wormed at two weeks intervals.
Puppies are de-sexed at 7 weeks.
Temperament testing is used to best choose
your puppy for you at 6-7 weeks.
We love our labradoodles and hope you will love their puppies.
